abtem.atoms.atoms_in_cell(atoms, margin=0.0)[source]#

Crop atoms outside the cell.

Parameters

  • atoms (ase.Atoms) – Atoms to be cropped.

  • margin (float or tuple of three floats) – Atoms that are outside the cell by this margin are not cropped (by default no margin).

Returns

cropped – Cropped atoms.

Return type

ase.Atoms
